Paper Pumpkin – Hugs from Shelli
Do you have a Sunday treat? For me I love to listen to the Archers omnibus on radio 4 and catch up on a bit of crafting before making lunch. My Paper Pumpkin arrived this week and I’d kept it for just this moment. I haven’t mentioned Paper Pumpkin much before as it is usually only available in the US and we in Europe have looked on with envy! However, for this month only, sounds like a quote from the Full Monty, we have been treated to a kit. It comes in a cute box, 9 1/2″ by 6 1/4 ” (perfect for using for storage after completing the kit) and has everything you need to make 12 really pretty notecards.
In the US they have a subscription service and this is a trial to see how popular it would be in Europe and other parts of the world – I know I’m definitely in! You don’t know exactly what the kit will contain so it is so exciting when it arrives! Priced at £20 it is the perfect treat or gift. The Hugs from Shelli kit has an exclusive photopolymer stamp set, an early espresso ink spot, 12 printed notecard bases and matching envelopes and all the other bits you need to make the cards – embellishments, die cuts, ribbon and glue. The only extra bit you need to make the cards is an acrylic block.
I loved the designs the kit suggested and found I made all the cards just as they were designed but if you prefer you can mix it up! They also provide extra embellishments so you can make some coordinating tags!
So what do you think? Are you tempted? Can I enrol you into listening to the Archers on Sunday mornings? Later I have to switch to radio 2 for Elaine Paige on Sunday to have my burst of musicals!
