Do you, like me, think this card will be perfect for so and so? I’ll keep it until their birthday and put it somewhere really safe. Then their birthday comes and either you’ve forgotten you already have a card or can’t remember where the safe place is? It is lovely when you find a hidden stash of beautiful handmade cards but equally a bit annoying especially when you had to make a card for that event in a panic and it wasn’t quite as perfect as you’d like!
To help me, and hopefully you too, I’ve designed a Card File Folder to record your anniversaries and birthdays in one place. It is a perpetual calendar so rolls over each year. It all fits in a 6″ by 8″ kraft folder. The design is to have the calendar for the month on the left with the pocket for the cards on the right.
Share what you love patterned paper
Of course it needs to look pretty too! The Share What You Love paper is the base of the project with Blackberry Bliss letters for the months. I like to use the Adhesive Sheet on the cardstock before cutting the letters so they are super easy to adhere.
Each folder has a pretty stamped image to tie in with the patterned paper. I really enjoyed deciding what to use and settled on six stamp sets – I know that is a lot but there are 12 months! The sets are Birthday wishes for you, Perennial Birthday, Lots of Love, Incredible like you, Piece of cake, PS You’re the best and Picture Perfect.
If you are near me you can join my class on Sunday, 12th May 2pm until 5pm please email. I have a couple of spaces at the moment. If you would like a kit to make it at home please email for more information.
2019 the year to remember everyone’s birthday and anniversary – or at least attempt to!
