Stamp the whole family and your friends and pets
Once you start stamping with the Family and Friends set you won’t be able to stop! Apart from lots of different hairstyles there are glasses, ties and buttons. It becomes a bit obsessive! Thank goodness it is photopolymer so lining it up is pretty easy! I did have one disaster where I created a bearded lady but soon worked out the trick of it – keep an eye on the chin!
To be honest I got a bit carried away using it and found it made the perfect piece of home decor, adding our cats as well! I found it easiest to stamp the body of the person first and work upwards. As I wanted to colour them in with our alcohol markers, Stampin’ Blends, I used memento ink. My frame is 7″ with a 6″ aperture but if you have a bigger family or group of friends you might want to go for a larger frame! Then you could have FAMILY instead of HOME underneath it! I only had space for 4 letters!
Enjoy some relaxing colouring
I started with a Stitched Rectangle framelit cut from Whisper White and added the people and pets (can you spot my adorable cats?). Do remember to add the ground or they will all be floating. The blends are so easy to colour with and give you a professional finish with no lines. I love using them!
Now this piece of stamping isn’t mine. My 18 year old daughter came home from school and saw my card above and said, “Can I have a try?”. Now it could have been a homework avoidance tactic but I don’t think so! She just thought they were too cute and wanted to have a try!
